Dr. Day Care Learning center is now NurturEd Early Learning Center.
Choosing the right early childhood education program can make a lasting difference in a child’s development and their future success. In this segment of Studio10, Krystin Rae learns more about NuturEd Early Learning Center from their founder, Dr. Mary Ann Shallcross Smith and CEO, Amy Vogel. Here, they discuss how they help children build essential skills while giving parents valuable insight. Everything with NuturEd Learning Center started back in 1972 when Dr. Shallcross Smith needed childcare for her son once he was born, and she needed to get back to work. Now, they’ve largely grown to have many different locations throughout our region from Cumberland to East Greenwich. They serve little ones from 6 weeks of age through preschool age. They also offer a school-age program, summer camp, and before/after school programming.
