After more than 22 years of dedicated service, Linda Reyero will be saying goodbye to NurturEd Providence on July 15 as she begins an exciting new chapter. Throughout her career, Linda has made a lasting impact on our organization, the children and families we serve, and the many colleagues who have had the privilege of working alongside her. We are deeply grateful for her years of leadership, commitment, and care, and we wish her every happiness and success in the years ahead.
Linda’s journey at our Providence center began in 2003, when the program was still known as the Nickerson Community Center. After the center became Dr. Day Care Providence in June 2015, she advanced from Lead Teacher to Assistant Director, then Administrator-in-Training, before becoming Site Administrator in 2017. Through every role, she remained committed to creating a warm, welcoming environment where children could thrive, families felt supported, and staff members were encouraged to grow.
Those who have worked alongside Linda describe her as a compassionate leader who leads by example. Whether she was celebrating a staff member’s success, offering guidance during a challenging day, or lending a listening ear, Linda’s steady presence made a difference to everyone around her.
A great child care director doesn’t simply manage a program. They create a place where children thrive, families feel supported, and teachers feel valued. Linda, thank you for more than two decades of doing just that and creating a lasting impact on the early childhood education world. You will be missed, but we are excited for your next adventure and wish you much success. – Amy Vogel, CEO
